Studio

Sasha Batchelder Studio creates calm, deeply considered interiors shaped around the people who live in them.

We begin with how a space should feel and how it needs to function — how you move through it, gather, rest, work and live.

Our approach is rooted in soft minimalism, but never minimalism for its own sake. We believe a home can be restrained without feeling empty, and beautiful without feeling overly designed. The most compelling interiors are not perfectly composed, but thoughtfully collected over time.

Influences

Our work is informed by emotional architecture, modernist restraint, Danish simplicity, and a deep appreciation for nature. We are drawn to clean architectural lines and natural materials that bring warmth and texture to a space.

About Sasha

Sasha Batchelder is a Brooklyn-based interior designer and lifestyle content creator. After a decade in finance in New York City, she founded the studio to explore how design can support a more intentional way of living.

Her approach combines soft minimalism with an interest in design history, Danish simplicity, and emotional architecture. She brings vintage and contemporary furniture together with natural materials and art, creating homes that feel calm and personal.

She believes our surroundings shape how we feel and live, and that a home develops its character over time. She shares the ongoing process of creating her own Brooklyn home online.
